After our first visit here about a year ago, we make it a point to stop by City Bakery every time we are in Fergus. Family owned and operated, with the friendliest staff that we've ever encountered. Lots to choose from and everything is tasty!! Love the bacon caramel apple fritter. The breads are pretty good too.

We made a stop while we were in town for business. For a small town bakery, the prices were very low and the shop had a cool, retro vibe. The portions are a little small, but good value overall. They even have homemade dog biscuits which is becoming more popular at bakeries. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. There is a $5 minimum charge for cards, so keep that in mind, but it's not hard to spend $5 at this little gem!

Fun little morning coffee shop. Lots of regulars Pretty good coffee. Tons of pastries, but the ones I bought weren't the best. The maple bar wasn't made that day, maybe a day or two old. The cinnamon roll was lacking cinnamon, and lots of it. It was really tasty bread, kind of like French bread, but I was wanting an ooey gooey cinnamon everywhere frosted cinnamon roll. The caramel donut and the honeymooners were yummy though :) Very friendly staff and great atmosphere

A cute little coffee and donut shop downtown Fergus! It's hard to compare anything next to Glam Doll Donuts in the cities, but these were still good. Not quite as light and fluffy and fresh as I was hoping, but their unique variety makes up for it. The baconator was good, and the fried maple was excellent. (I split them, people!!) The coffee is okay. I'd recommend going next door to Cafe 116 for the locally roasted Stumbeano's. That is truly excellent coffee.

Creative, imaginative donuts are all the rage and this place has plenty of them. But all I want is a simple glazed raised donut. City bakery delivered. The texture was perfect, it had some substance without too much density. The glaze wrapped the outside without overpowering-- too many glazed donuts are lacking in the glaze department but not here. what a wonderful donut,

I don't know the Lance guy, I just walked in from an interstate trip and wanted a cup of coffee. Astounded by the quality of the pastries in this place - great prices too! Coffee is pretty good too. The two guys in the store were ultra nice, if a bit shy. Playing some great BB King blues right now. Great ambience and great pastries. Good job guys.
